Home-made Cordon Bleu

Here’s a meal that’s sure to delight young and old alike!

The recipe


1. Slit your Filets in the middle and fold them over like a slipper.
2. Mix the egg, cream and Emmental cheese in a blender.
3. Spread the inside of your Filet with this mixture and close it.
4. Roll in flour, then egg whites, then breadcrumbs.
5. Repeat the process until the fillet is well covered.
6. Place your fillets in a hot frying pan with a small mixture of butter and oil.
7. Let brown…. Serve with mashed potatoes or mixed salad.

Ingredients for 4 people

  • 4 Chicken Fillets
  • 1 egg
  • 100gr liquid cream
  • 200gr grated Emmental cheese
  • 150gr Flour
  • 3 egg whites
  • 150gr breadcrumbs (or Panko breadcrumbs)

Parmesan: optional For a TASTY TOUCH: add grated Parmesan to the breadcrumbs and mix. You can add a slice of Jambon Blanc to your Filets.
